Treat Your Fuel System
If your car has lost some of its power and the gas mileage is dwindling, you may need to clean out your fuel system.

Yes, it can be overwhelming to see shelves and shelves of fuel system cleaners at your auto parts store and many of them have to be used every time you fill up with gas! So here's how to keep things simple:

CRC 1-TANK Power Renew is a concentrated one-tank cleanup, used only 4 times a year, that cleans out the deposits that build up inside the fuel system with regular every day driving.

It's super easy to use and even comes with a funnel in the box, so it takes seconds to do the "service" and then you are done for the next 4,000-5,000 miles. Just add it to the tank every time your vehicle is due for an oil change.

It really doesn't matter if the car you're driving is old or new, big or small. There are steps we can take to make sure our cars are as environmentally friendly as possible. So keeping these tips in mind you can help protect the environment, better maintain your vehicle and even save some money in the long run. Tip number one be mindful at the pump. No something many of us tend to overlook is the gas cap. Take a really good look at it the next time you fill up. A loose, cracked or damaged gas cap allows gas to escape from your tank as a vapor. That waste fuel, it increases your vehicles emissions and it’s also wasting your gas money. Now speaking of gas. The next time you fill up your car. Make sure that you stop when the nozzle shuts off. Your tank needs some extra room to let the gasoline expand, and topping off the tank can release harmful vapors into the environment. And while we’re talking about the environment, my next tip is to get prepped. You know most US states require mandatory emissions testing’s every year. There is a really great way that you can prepare for the emissions test to make sure that your vehicle gets a passing grade. This is CRC Guaranteed to Pass Emissions System Cleaner. Now this product contains some pretty powerful detergent additives that are strong enough to remove the deposits that build up on emissions control components if you have a gasoline powered vehicle. It reduces emissions, and works for both tail pipe analysis and on board diagnostics testing methods. You just add the entire bottle of CRC Guaranteed to Pass to your gas tank before filling up. This ensures the product is mixed well with the fuel. Fill your tank with gas then drive like you normally would until the tank is nearly empty. Refill with gasoline and then you are ready to pass the state emissions test. You can't lose because it comes with a double your money back guarantee. Now this is one test we all want to pass but if you don't you will get double your purchase price back from CRC. And the third way to keep your car just a little bit greener, drive smart. How you drive has a lot to do with fuel economy which in turn can affect the environment. So try to avoid all the sudden stop and go. Drive the speed limit and try to minimize any unnecessary miles by carpooling or knocking out as many errands as possible in one trip. See with just a little bit of planning and the right products. You can keep your car running great, keep mother nature in mind and pass that state emissions test with ease.
